This new 14,500 SF mixed use building is located at SE Belmont and 38th in SE Portland. It consists of ground floor retail and parking with two floors of loft apartment units- 16 total. There are three apartment floor plans from 529 SF, 610 SF and 719 SF. Each apartment has bike parking, concrete floors with t+g wood ceilings and a large sliding door from the bedroom to the living space.

This approximately 19,000 SF building was completed in the Fall of 2009. The spaces were designed as “move-in ready”- tenants just bring their furniture and equipment- no build-out construction required. The building is LEED Platinum and features photovoltaic panels on the roof and an infiltration planter at the main entry for managing storm water on site.

Monterey Peninsula College Marina Campus classroom building
Surround, in association with HGHB designed this classroom building on the new Marina Campus for Monterey Peninsula College. Surround is implementing the first building of the masterplan we had created previously. The tower in the courtyard includes a wind turbine generating power for the new campus.
